Thank you ever so much for replying to my e-mail. It was a great shock when I found out in October that Kubilay had died. I received an e-mail from him in the week that he died, although I didn't get the chance to see until after his death, which caused a lot of distress.

Kubilay was a smashing lad and I have fond memories of him which will remain with me always.

Take comfort from the fact that many of his friends in Edinburgh held a memorial meeting to talk about the times they shared with him.
